Some co-workers asked me to go out with them on a Friday night and I was really quite tired, so I needed to come up with an excuse. I googled around for a random excuse generator on the Internet, and while I could not find anything useful, I did find this interesting Youtube video.

Think You're Worthless?
Here's an apparently true story that will remind people of how valuable they are:

A wealthy man once came up to me and offered me $100 million dollars, and said all I had to do was let him chop off my legs and, once a day, ram a lit blowtorch up my ass.
I said no, realizing for the first time that, while I didn't have $100 million, I did have something worth more than $100 million to me. Specifically, my legs and an unburnt anus. So if I already own something worth more than $100 million it's silly to worry about the bill collector at the door demanding his few thousand. That's a true story, by the way.

Tea Preparation as Status Symbol
I laughed so hard when I read this:
In Britain and some Commonwealth countries, the order in which the milk and the tea enter the cup is often considered an indicator of social class. Persons of working class background are supposedly more likely to add the milk first and pour the tea in afterward, whereas persons of middle and upper class backgrounds are more likely to pour the tea in first and then add milk. This is said to be a continuing practice from a time when porcelain (the only ceramic which could withstand boiling water) was only within the purchasing range of the rich - the less wealthy had access only to poor quality earthenware, which would crack unless milk was added first in order to lower the temperature of the tea as it was poured in.Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea

Kids with Magical Powers
This is what happens when you let your kids read too much Harry Potter. Those fundamentalist Christians were right.
