Many young Christians I speak to say masturbation is not a sin because there is only one reference in the bible supposedly about masturbation (the story of Onan) but this is not actually about masturbation.
However, in order to masturbate you must lust. Lust is defined as sexual desire. You must have sexual desire in order to masturbate, i.e. think of a beautiful naked woman or man. Lust is a sin.
Matthew 5:28 says, "Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Job 31:11-12 says, "For lust is a shameful sin, a crime that should be punished. It is a devastating fire that destroys to hell. It would wipe out everything I own."
Since you must lust to masturbate, and since lust is a sin then it follows logically that masturbation is a sin.
I presented this argument to my Christian friend (who masturbates) and he said the following: "Jesus died for my sins. All the sins I ever committed and all the sins I ever will commit have already been forgiven. I don't worry about it. Sin does not exist anymore." He said that he "masturbates, confesses, and then is forgiven." He repeats the processes on and on, expecting forgiveness all the time.
But you cannot do this. You must strive to be perfect. Thessalonians 4:7-8 says, "God has called us to be holy, not to live impure lives. Anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human rules but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you."
Also, in Hebrews it says that wilfull sin is not covered by God's sacrifice and will not be forgiven. Hebrews 10:26-27 says, "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."
The evidence that masturbation is a sin seems strong. So what should a Christian do is he or she is tempted to masturbate? According to http://www.wolfeborobible.com/selfpleasure.html you must do the following:
"You need to have a godly plan to deal with this sin. We suggest that you read your Bible and Pray right before you go to sleep. So the last thing on your mind will be about the Lord.
"We also believe that you MUST confess this sin EVERY time you commit it. Don't simply ignore the sin, because God never does! Confess it! Ask God for help and victory over this sin. Plan on praying to God and thanking God as soon as you wake in the morning. If you begin to day-dream about someone in a sexual way, confess that as sin, right away and begin to think about God honoring things.
"Avoid idle time that will allow you to engage in ungodly thinking. When you begin to think about commiting this sin, STOP, PRAY, repent for even thinking about it, and then begin doing those things that please God.
"Like many sins, this Self-Sexual Sin becomes a habit that can only be broken through the power of God. Cry out to God for forgiveness and for Victory!"

Swan Brooner on Living Dolls
YouTube - Living Dolls (1 of 9)
I have just watched Living Dolls on Youtube. It's about Swam Brooner, a five-year-old little girl who competes in child beauty pageants. Sometimes I wonder whether she wants to do this because she often seems sad. Her smiles on-stage seem fake. Her mother is extremely pushy and critical, telling her daughter to look up, not sing too low, etc. At the end, Swan wins $2500 prizemoney but the family has spent more than $70,000, so really the whole exercise was not profitable. If the same effort were put into trying to get her into college I think that might have been more profitable. With $70,000 you can get into quite a few universities.
I have recently heard that Swan's mother died and she is living in Alaska now. She is 13 and no longer doing beauty pageants. Even though she won some beauty pageants, she lost as well, and it was really sad to see her face when she lost.
Some of the comments on Youtube were about the observation that although many of the children in these child beauty pageants were very pretty, many of the mothers of these children were obese and homely. This suggests the possibility that these mothers are trying to compensate for their failures by succeeding through their children. That is, the parents are using their children to live their own lives.

Locking a Child up in a Cage for Discipline?
I have been watching Super Nanny and one technique that Super Nanny uses it the Naughty Bean Bag Technique. If the child is naughty, he or she is put on the Naughty Bean Bag and must stay there fore five minutes before apologizing. If the child leaves then the parent has to put the child back on the bean bag.
I know a couple who have tried this technique on their 5-year-old son and what they find is that their son takes a long time (maybe half an hour) to apologize and every single time they bring him to the bean bag he tries to run away and they have to carry him back.
My friend James recommends they lock the child up in a room or cage. The wife said this was horrible but James said that it's practically the same thing. If the child is on a bean bag and every time he tries to escape he is put back there then that is virtually the same as if the child were locked in a room because the child's movements are deprived and this is what the whole punishment is about.
James argues that the Naughty Bean Bag Technique and locking the kid up in a cell both achieve the same thing but locking a child up saves the parent time whereas the Naughty Bean Bag Technique uses up the parents' time resources, which are wasted and could be put into other important things like doing the dishes or cleaning the floor.
The wife said that locking a child up is child abuse and morally wrong, but James argues that locking a child up is the same as Super Nanny's Naughty Bean Bag Technique and Super Nanny's technique is televised and praised by parents. If Super Nanny's technique is morally okay then it logically follows that locking a child up is morally okay.
The couple are not happy when their son constantly refuses to clean up his room.

Sex Before Marriage and Christianity's Failure
"Nearly everyone in the US has sex before marriage, a new survey shows. And contrary to popular belief, chastity before one’s wedding day was a rarity in the 1950s and early ‘60s, too."
Just about everyone has sex before marriage, sex before marriage is forbidden in the bible, and 70 per cent of Australians are Christians and 84 per cent are in America.
This I think is illustrative of the failure of Christianity to teach people this message. It is also illustrative of the power that progressive values have over the population.

My Friend Wants to Sleep with my Wife
This came from a friend of mine and I think it's quite bizarre:
My wife and I had dinner with my friend James and his wife last night at a sushi restaurant. James wants to have another child in his family. The problem is the cost. James is a rich man who earns lots of money, but so too does his wife. The fear is that if the wife takes time off work she will lose 9 months worth of wages, which comes to about $60,000.
James suggested to his wife that they adopt a baby instead. By adopting the wife doesn't have to take time off work and they save $60,000. They get a child either way. The only difference is if they adopt they save $60,000.
However, after his wife liked the idea, James changed his mind. He said he wanted to pass his genes to the next generation. I told him, "That's gonna cost you $60,000." He agreed and then had another idea. My wife is not like James's wife. My wife is a housewife who stays at home all the time. James said that he wants to sleep with my wife, impregnate her, and let her have the baby. That way his own wife can go to work and collect the $60,000 and after my wife goes through labor and pops out the baby, she will hand over the baby to James who will receive a baby with his own genes in it. Strangely, James's wife agreed, saying she didn't want to go through the pain of pregnancy and labor. James argued that my wife would be perfect because we already have two kids, so my wife has experience in pregnancy and labor.
My wife is a devout Christian and she totally rejected the idea. However, James offered my wife $20,000 if she went through with it. My wife hesitated and looked at me, wanting to know whether I approved of her sleeping with James.
James told us to think about it overnight and tell him later. The whole plan would save him $40,000 ($60,000 in wages minus $20,000 in costs). Plus I suspect that James has the hots for my wife. I fear that my wife my actually like James as well.
So what do you guys think? Should I let my wife be used to produced babies for $20,000? That money could really come in handy for my intended upgrade to a VE Calais.

Reasons Why Christmas Should be Banned
A Christian friend of mine gave me the following in an email:
I would prefer it if Christmas were practiced in private where they cannot be seen in public. This is because, as a Christian, I am deeply offended by Christmas. Everytime I see Santa or a Christmas tree I am reminded of Satan. How hard must Satan be laughing at the millions of people practicing pagan and sexual rituals?
Everyone has the right to freedom of expression, of course, but everyone also has the right to the choice to block himself from offensive things. This is why homosexual sexual intercourse, although deeply offensive to many people, is allowed only in private. If a couple had sex in public, imagine what effect this would have on the children who see it? Parents have a right to protect their children from seeing nudity and immoral sexual acts. Likewise, parents have a right to protect their children from the Satanic influences of Christmas.
Please educate yourself about the evils of Christmas with the links below:
